Jase, Simon and Jesse are heading up a track that hasn’t been travelled yet this season after the area experienced a whole lot of heavy rain. They embark with optimism, but have they bitten off more than they can chew?
The plan is to get up, get driving, get stuck, get unstuck, set up camp… and repeat. It could be a long drive ahead!
The rain has definitely played a part in carving out a new landscape, so the boys do their best to repair the track and fill the holes they need to get past. But a raging torrent shook up their river crossing with new crevices and fallen trees blocking their exit. They hate to do it, but this might be a situation that causes them to turn back.
When the going gets tough, the tough get cookin’. And Jase has a chicken fried rice planned that will feed the hungry hoard. He’s got ingredient tips and chopping tricks to make this a simple recipe to add to your repertoire whether you’re at home or on the road.
Facing their previous track problems from the other direction, they try some new strategies to get through the area they’re calling ‘Mini Gunshot’. It’s a winch fest!
