THIS WEEK ON ALL 4 ADVENTURE…
Jase and Simon and their mate Kiel are tackling Tasmania’s toughest coastal track. But will the Climies Track be 15ks of carnage?
Straight away, they face holes and gaps and do their best to repair the track before they can get through with their trucks and trailers. Sandy inclines are a beast to get up, but Kiel makes it with no problems to become the winch point for the other two. Jase’s trailer hooks up, and they opt to remove the trailer and winch it separately to save them some time with a team effort. Simon comes in hot and barrels his way up.
Jase wants to be cautious and smart about how they manoeuvre their way through with careful planning at each stage. They don’t want to break things out here!
As they come across more quicksand and boggy country, sometimes momentum is your only friend as they crab-walk thru and lose tyres along the way. But we learn that communication is key, when a slip-up goes into the “What Not to Do” handbook.
Who says you can’t have cake for breakfast? Jase cooks up an Oatmeal Brekkie cake for one. Simple little treat out on the road or at home!
Never able to resist a bit of history, they take off on the buggies to get up to the ruins of an old mining site. Sir Roll-a-lot is back behind the wheel, and Kiel is regretting choosing to ride shotgun. It’s worth the effort, as they get some spectacular views from the top!
