THIS WEEK ON ALL 4 ADVENTURE…

As Jase, Simon and Kiel pass back through Archer River, they see what a difference a few days can make. But they face wash-outs and rough tracks as they make their way to mate Joe’s place at a remote bush camp. Wish promises of good fishing nearby, the team are happy to do whatever it takes to get Kiel’s first Cape York barra.

The way is swampy, and the best line is anyone’s guess. But they finally find a spot to set up a decent camp conveniently near a fishing spot. Out in the tinny, there’s a bit of a dance as lines get untangled and the first fish is pulled in. What will it be? Whatever it is… it’s getting some fish mix and going into the cooker! And how about some Cheesy Garlic Bread. while you’re at it, Jase?

Later they have to part ways with Joe but continue on the track with his directions to the west coast of the Cape. It’s spectacular country with challenging salt pans and gully crossings where momentum is your friend. After a long day of driving, they’re motivated to get through without having to dig themselves out of trouble. And thankfully a little planning pays off.
