THIS WEEK ON ALL 4 ADVENTURE…
Jase and Simon are back on the mainland and head from Derby to Mt. Hart Wilderness Lodge, and they’re on a mission to find the old homestead from 1906. But the track goes from graded to ungraded to basically not there at all. They face water crossing after water crossing, and out comes the recovery gear to help clear the way.
After finding a spot to stop for the night, Jase is ready with the campfire stories as he tells more about the history of the homestead. The next morning Jase puts a twist on the typical scramble with his Pesto Eggs.
Back in the 4x4s, they venture further down the overgrown path with more thick grass and water crossings making the going slow.
When Jase spots a clear creek, they take the opportunity to go for a quick flick to see what’s on the bite.
Then it’s time to go bush as they head cross country in the quad. When they come across an old International ute, they know they could be getting close. Will they trace the footsteps of the old settlers back to the original homestead?
