THIS WEEK ON ALL 4 ADVENTURE…
Jase and Simon are hitting the road again and are heading to one of their favourite areas out in Western Australia with some new spots to explore along the way including a start to the series in the incredible Bungle Bungles.
Though they’ve travelled this way before, there are still some bucket list stops they haven’t made. Simon decides to tick one off the list with a small detour to Bandilngan (Windjana Gorge). Jase finds Simon on his beach towel down by the swimming hole… where the freshies swim!
Back in the trucks, Jase has one more destination he wants to visit while they’re out playing tourists. The boys are awed by the the spectacular beauty of Tunnel Creek where they are dwarfed (or is that ‘hobbited’?) by the immense rock formations.
The hottest town in the Pilbara welcomes the boys with a cold and windy southern ocean front. They brave the elements to have a look at the geological feature which gives Marble Bar its name. If the weather isn’t going to cooperate, there’s no better excuse for a stop at the local pub where they get a tip on a decent fishing spot.
So they head out and meet up with Phil and Frank who have access to the home of jurassic monster fish, and it’s not long before the boys are pulling in milkfish, cod, huge bream, monster jacks, the king of queenies, and truly giant trevallies. When Simon almost loses his line, he even asks, ‘got any spots where there’s smaller fish?’ How will they be able to top this spot when there’s the whole season left to go?
