THIS WEEK ON ALL 4 ADVENTURE…

While the boys have a little time left on Mornington Island, they have to check out a secret fishing spot they learned from the rangers. To get there, they have to cross the salt pans and take the quads and tinnies to find a launch point. The effort to get there is worth it with mangrove jack, queenies and fingermark on the bite. Back at camp, Jase cooks up his famous tuna bake, which Simon declares is ‘exceptional’.

It’s hard to say goodbye to this fabulous area, and Nige throws in one last lure and reels in an epic parting gift on the other end! But there’s no time to try again, because they need to make the 70km run to Sweers Island on their way back to the mainland. There they are greeted by Tex, the resort owner, who sends them off to checkout some history including a spot called Inspection Hill.

With goldies and blue salmon on the sounder, there’s still some time to case a line before they have to meet up with the barge and move on to the east coast of Cape York!
