In this year’s series finale, the boys set out from Wave Hill into the Tanami Desert to find the resting place of the Kookaburra plane and a plaque laid by Dick Smith at Anderson’s corner, which has been lost to time. The terrain is grueling, the weather is hot, and the vehicles take a beating. All they have to work from are a few rough co-ordinates and a single image of Dick Smith and the plaque. This exciting conclusion to A Decade of Dirt you won’t want to miss!
