This episode starts with a detour to Katherine to sort out the alternator problems that have been plaguing Jase for several days. Once that is fixed up, it is on to Cape Crawford and a chopper ride over the spectacular rock formation known as the Lost City.
Once back at the vehicles, it is time to press on to Lorella Springs, but the recent rain means big puddles. With the laden trailers and heavy trucks, you never can tell how long it will take to get through.
When they finally reach Lorella Springs Station, Jase has a catch-up with Rhett the owner, who has only recently recovered from a horrific accident on the property. With over a million acres, he was truly isolated, and the rescue involving two CareFlight aircraft saved his life.
Jase and Simon are eager to explore, so Rhett sends them on a mission to get to a waterfall on the property known as Teardrop Falls, and as always, there’s a bit of fun 4WDing required to get there.
The next day the guys meet up again with their chopper pilot who takes them out to the coast to find some secret fishing spots only reachable by air. They manage to catch themselves some lunch which they cook up on the fire.
Later Jase cooks up some Lemonade Scones and makes some Dogs Nuts tea (it’s not what it sounds like) as a thank-you for Rhett which they share while dreaming up the next adventure.
